The Collective nutrition: calories, sugar and salt compared

Every The Collective product in our database broken down by calories, sugar, salt and saturated fat, and checked against NHS daily reference intakes for children aged 4 to 17.

Yoghurt splits into two different products nutritionally. Plain and Greek-style yoghurts contain only lactose, which is not free sugar and does not count against the NHS limit. Flavoured and children's yoghurts add sugar on top, and that portion does count.

How the range differs

The gap between plain and flavoured lines within a single brand is usually larger than the gap between brands. Fruit-on-the-bottom, corner and dessert formats sit at the higher end; natural and high-protein lines at the lower.

Pot size matters more than it looks. Children's multipack pots are small, but the larger single pots are often eaten in one sitting regardless of the stated serving.
