FAQs
Any questions?
Clear answers about the Boone DNA nutrition test, your results and how the app works.
How does the Boone DNA nutrition test work?
+
Order your kit online, provide a simple saliva sample at home and return it using the instructions provided. Your sample is analysed for selected genetic markers linked to nutrient metabolism, absorption and dietary response. These insights form the basis of your personalised nutrition profile.
What will my nutrition report include?
+
Your report explains how your genetic profile may influence areas such as nutrient metabolism, vitamin utilisation, carbohydrate and fat response, protein response, caffeine metabolism and appetite-related traits. Boone turns this into a clear Biological Nutrition Blueprint.
Is this the same as a DNA diet test or DNA test for food diet?
+
Boone includes DNA-based nutrition insights, but it goes further than a typical DNA diet test. Instead of only giving you a static report, Boone connects your results to meal tracking in the app so you can see how your everyday diet aligns with your biology over time.
How do I use the Boone app?
+
Once your results are available, you can use the Boone app to analyse meals, track nutritional intake and see how your daily food choices align with your genetic profile across days and weeks.
Can I analyse meals with photos?
+
Yes. Boone can convert meal photos into structured nutritional data, including estimated macronutrients, micronutrients and levels of food processing. This helps you understand dietary patterns without relying only on manual food diaries.
Is Boone a DNA food allergy test, food sensitivity test or food intolerance test?
+
No. Boone is a DNA nutrition test focused on selected genetic markers linked to nutrient metabolism and dietary response. It is not a DNA food allergy test, DNA food sensitivity test, DNA test for food intolerance, food allergy test, food sensitivity test, food intolerance test or medical diagnostic test.
Is Boone a medical test?
+
No. Boone is designed to support personalised nutrition insight and education. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease, and it should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Is my genetic and nutrition data private?
