Scores use the UK nutrient profiling model 2018, published by the Department of Health and Social Care in January 2026, computed per 100g from portion weights derived from the per 100g column in the Five Guys UK allergen, ingredient and nutrition guide dated 5 August 2026. Points are given for energy, saturated fat, free sugars and salt, then subtracted for protein, fibre and fruit, vegetable, nut and seed content. A lower score is better. Foods scoring 4 or more and drinks scoring 1 or more are classed as less healthy.
Fibre is Five Guys' own published figure. Fruit, vegetable, nut and seed content is scored as zero throughout, because Five Guys does not publish ingredient percentages; that slightly understates the Lettuce Wrap and Veggie Sandwich. Free sugars exclude the lactose in dairy, deducted at 1.3g for every gram of milk protein. Milkshakes are scored as drinks at the regular size.
Items are scored as published, without toppings. The Heathrow-only breakfast and coffee menu and loose peanuts are excluded. That leaves 41 items.
