Every Costa item measured against the UK daily guidelines for you or your child. Pick what matters to you and the menu re-sorts, so the better choices come first.
Each dot is one item. The UK government’s 400-600-600 guidance suggests about 600 kcal for lunch or dinner, so anything past the line is more than a whole meal on its own.

The 303 items in this section range from 0 kcal for the Mint Infusion up to 604 kcal for the All Day Breakfast Wrap. The highest free sugar is the Red Berries Fruit Cooler (Medium) at 53.0g, which is 177% of an adult's daily limit of 30g.
Boone separates free sugars from the sugars that occur naturally in milk and whole fruit, which NHS daily limits do not count, and measures every figure against the guideline for a specific age and sex rather than an adult average. Set the size and the milk in the calculator to see how any combination changes.

Yes. Start with any Costa Coffee item, then add food and drinks from across the Costa menu. The calculator totals the order and shows how it fits the daily guidelines for your age and sex.
Boone uses UK government and NHS guidelines, which differ by age and sex. Saturated fat is limited to 20g a day for women and 30g for men, and free sugar to 30g for adults but 19g for children aged 4 to 6. Choosing an age and sex recalculates every figure against the right limits.
Children have lower limits for free sugar and salt and need less energy, so the same item uses a bigger share of their day. A child aged 4 to 6 has a limit of 19g of free sugar and 3g of salt, compared with 30g and 6g for an adult.
Boone uses the nutrition and allergen information Costa publishes for its UK menu, then calculates free sugar and how much of the daily guidelines each item uses for your age and sex.
Yes. Each Costa Coffee item page lists the allergens Costa declares, including where cross-contamination cannot be ruled out. If you have a severe allergy, always check with the store before ordering.
Costa publishes total sugar, which includes the sugar naturally found in milk and whole fruit. NHS limits apply only to free sugars, so Boone separates the two and measures free sugar against your daily limit. That is why an item can use less of your limit than its total sugar suggests.
