Every Nando's item measured against the UK daily guidelines for you or your child. Pick what matters to you and the menu re-sorts, so the better choices come first.
Each dot is one item. The UK government’s 400-600-600 guidance suggests about 600 kcal for lunch or dinner, so anything past the line is more than a whole meal on its own.
Every item on the Nando's UK menu, measured against what a specific person actually needs in a day rather than an adult average.
Free sugar, separated from the rest. Nando's publishes a total sugar figure. NHS daily limits apply only to free sugars and exclude the sugars naturally present in milk, whole fruit and vegetables. Sweet Potato Wedges list 24.4g of sugar, but Boone estimates only around 4.1g of that is free sugar, from the Garlic PERinaise. The rest comes from the sweet potato itself. Where Boone estimates the split, the page says so, and the estimate is rounded so free sugar is never understated.
Every figure set against an age. A regular portion of PERi-Salted Chips carries 2.7g of salt. That is 45% of an adult's daily limit and 90% of the limit for a child aged 4 to 6. Same portion, different answer, and the label only ever gives you the adult one.
Food portions run from 3 kcal for the Nandinos Cucumber Sticks up to 1174 kcal for the Fully Loaded Chips, across 9 sections. Wing Roulette carries 6.5g of salt, more than a full day's limit for an adult.
A 1/2 Chicken with a regular PERi-Salted Chips comes to 1077 kcal and 4.4g of salt. Swap the chips for Tenderstem® Broccoli and the same meal is 611 kcal and 2.3g of salt. Nando's publishes every dish before spice, and your choice of spice adds from 0 kcal for Plain...ish to 82 kcal for Extra Hot. Each side, count and extra has its own page, and the calculator lets you build the whole plate.
A Nandinos meal is a main, two sides and a dessert or drink. A Nandino Burger with Chips, Corn on the Cob and a Bottomless Soft Swirl Tub comes to 767 kcal, 59% of what a child aged 4 to 6 needs in a whole day, with 2.5g of salt (83% of their limit) and 17.9g of free sugar (94% of their limit). Swapping the ice cream for a Pip Cloudy Apple Juice barely helps the sugar, because juice counts as free sugar too.
Nando's does not publish ingredient lists for its UK menu, so no item on these 105 pages is scored for ultra-processing and no NOVA group is assigned. Boone will not estimate either of those from a nutrition row alone. Allergens are shown on every page, taken from what Nando's declares for each dish. Sharing platters are not listed, because Nando's figures for them cover the chicken only, not the sides that come with them.
Every item in order, for the question you are asking.

Corrections. Figures that cannot be right are corrected, and free sugar is worked out from the ingredients where they are published.
Guidelines. UK government and NHS limits by age and sex. Healthiest and unhealthiest rankings use the UK nutrient profiling model.
Allergens. Always check with the restaurant if you have an allergy.
