Every Frankie & Benny's item measured against the UK daily guidelines for you or your child. Pick what matters to you and the menu re-sorts, so the better choices come first.
Each dot is one item. The UK government’s 400-600-600 guidance suggests about 600 kcal for lunch or dinner, so anything past the line is more than a whole meal on its own.

Every item on the Frankie & Benny's UK menu, measured against what a specific person actually needs in a day rather than an adult average. That includes the full kids menu, with Small Eater and Large Eater portions listed separately.
Free sugar, separated from the rest. Frankie & Benny's publishes a total sugar figure. NHS daily limits apply only to free sugars and exclude the sugars naturally present in milk. On an Oreo Shake, 101.4g of total sugar becomes 75.3g that counts. That is still 251% of an adult's daily limit.
Every figure set against an age. A Kids Pasta & Meatballs (Small Eater) is 40% of the daily salt limit for a 4 to 6 year old and 20% of an adult's. Same plate, different answer, and the menu only ever gives you calories.
Frankie & Benny's does not publish ingredient lists for the food it makes to order, and UK law does not require it to. The legal floor is calories and the 14 major allergens. That means no page on this site can tell you how many ingredients are in a dish or whether it is ultra-processed.
Its burger and grill figures also cover the main item only. The skin-on fries, 'slaw and onion rings those dishes are served with are not included, so a burger and fries is typically 300 to 700 kcal more than the burger figure alone. Add the sides in the calculator to see the full plate. Where Frankie & Benny's published figures contained an obvious error, Boone has corrected them and says so on the item page.
Every item in order, for the question you are asking.

Yes. Sides, drinks, and sauces or dips where Frankie & Benny's lists them, can all be added to a meal. Each addition updates the meal's calories, sugar, salt and saturated fat.
Boone uses UK government and NHS guidelines, which differ by age and sex. Saturated fat is limited to 20g a day for women and 30g for men, and free sugar to 30g for adults but 19g for children aged 4 to 6. Choosing an age and sex recalculates every figure against the right limits.
For adults, the reference intake is 2,000 kcal and 70g of fat a day, with no more than 20g of saturated fat for women or 30g for men, 30g of free sugar and 6g of salt. Children have lower limits for free sugar and salt.
Children have lower limits for free sugar and salt and need less energy, so the same item uses a bigger share of their day. A child aged 4 to 6 has a limit of 19g of free sugar and 3g of salt, compared with 30g and 6g for an adult.
No. Calories and nutrients change with portion size, so where Frankie & Benny's sells an item in more than one size, each size is listed separately. You can also adjust the portion in the calculator.
Yes. Sauces and dips can add a noticeable amount of sugar, salt and calories, especially if you have more than one. Where Frankie & Benny's publishes nutrition for them, you can add them to your meal in the calculator.
Where Frankie & Benny's publishes nutrition for its drinks, they are listed with the same detail as food and can be added to any meal. Sugary drinks are often the largest single source of free sugar in a meal.
Frankie & Benny's publishes total sugar, which includes the sugar naturally found in milk and whole fruit. NHS limits apply only to free sugars, so Boone separates the two and measures free sugar against your daily limit. That is why an item can use less of your limit than its total sugar suggests.
Fat is the total of all the fats in an item. Saturated fat is one type within that total and has its own daily limit, 20g for women and 30g for men, because eating too much can raise cholesterol.
Yes, as part of a balanced diet. Checking a Frankie & Benny's meal's calories, saturated fat, sugar and salt against your daily guidelines shows how much room is left for the rest of the day.
Choose a smaller portion, swap a sugary drink for water or a zero sugar option, and go easy on sauces and dips. The calculator shows how each change affects the meal before you order.
